I believe that women are very strong. They may seem like silly putty on the outside, but inside, they are cobalt steel, and there is very little that drops them to their knees and keeps them there.
In my experience only two things can happen to a woman that can cause a fall so brutal that she will never stand upright in quite the same way again.
One is being completely and utterly shamed.
The other is a shattered heart.
